The Art Alliance
The Boca Grande Art Alliance [BGAA] was founded in 1986 by a small group of talented artists living in Boca Grande, Florida, who were in search of a venue to show their art works to residents and visitors. The Fust Library in town hosted several early exhibitions. Today the Alliance has grown to become a 501-3C non-profit operation with a very supportive and active membership.
The Boca Grande Art Alliance programs include art exhibits, workshops and classes, educational lectures, tours and special events that celebrate the local culture and promote the visual arts for the public and contribute to the cultural life of our community.
Artists and art enthusiasts are encouraged to get involved in the many activities of the Alliance. Come visit. You may wish to attend the art shows, enroll in or teach a workshop, volunteer to help with exhibits and other events. Meet the Exhibiting Artist Members who provide friendship and encouragement to one another in support of the community and its artistic vitality.
